Hurray! Norsaac is 20 years!!
Its been 20 years of impacting communities and surrounding areas! Its been 20 years of impacting the lives of marginalized people across the country! We’re celebrating growth, we’re celebrating progress and we’re celebrating big strides in the development space. It was never a road paved with gold, but with struggle, hard work, commitment, and passion, not to forget an incredibly resilient team of superstar employees, interns, partners and donors.
Norsaac was birthed out of an HIV/AIDS club in 2002 is a human-rights community engagement and policy-influencing organization headquartered in Tamale in the Northern region of Ghana and serving Ghana to promote social transformation and improved living conditions.
Currently, Norsaac prides itself as a “Movement for Active Citizenship” as enshrined in its Strategic Paper III (2020-2024) focusing on 4 outcome areas with interest in increasing economic opportunities, improving healthcare delivery, better educational outcomes, peace, and stable communities and social protection for the vulnerable!
To the people who were there from the start, we say a big thank you for sticking by and supporting us, and those who boarded the train along the way, we say thanks for making the ride so far worthwhile. We can’t wait to see what the next 20 years has in store for us. Friends and family of Norsaac, partners, collaborators, and donors, we couldn’t possibly celebrate without you. We have an exciting line-up of activities and humbly request that you join us to commemorate this milestone and look forward to the next.
