NORSAAC ORGANISED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
As part of its empowering women and young people strategies, NORSAAC organized a two-day training workshop for 30 young people in the Northern Region under its Youth Livelihood Entrepreneurship Project (YOLEP). The trainees were individuals from deprived backgrounds who were brought together and equipped with some financial management skills. The training did not only inculcate skills on financial management on the young people but also education on sexual reproductive health and rights of young people. The training was led by the Karaga Zonal Manager of NORSAAC, Mr. Mohammed Ukasha. The young people expressed their appreciation to NORSAAC for the knowledge gained and promised to put to good use what was learnt. The YOLEP is funded by the UK based Tools for Self Reliance (TFSR).
